The girls live to dress up and pretend, together and with visiting friends.  Here, Sophie and Wylie Thornquist do an improvisational dance to entertain the folks, while Dalia is some sort of fairy princess.  Usually, she is Cinderella and needs to go to the ball. Or they take turns being Angelina Ballerina and Alice, her sidekick.  Or they are kittens and want to play "kitten castle," whatever that means.

 
We had plenty of snow this winter, and lots of fun with it.  Sophie got to be a pro at making snow angels; Dalia seems to love stamping around in the snow and tends to lose her mittens.  Once, when it was very, very cold outside, we all pretended to be at the North Pole, and started singing, "We are explorers, mighty mighty explorers...."  It got them to stop complaining, at least!  :-)
