Washington, D.C. area

 
Judy and the girls spent a busy week getting together with family and friends, especially old girlfriends and their children, as well as some cousins.  Shirley and Joel were kind enough to host an "open house" so that friends would have a place to meet, and they also babysat on a couple of occasions so that Judy got out to dance--a special treat!  We logged many hours in the playground just enjoying the warm weather, which was a nice break from all the snow at home.  Meanwhile, in Copper Mountain, Colorado (below), Noel had a great time skiing and hanging out with his friend Keith and Keith's wife Pat.

Finally, Noel joined us back in DC, and we spent a rainy, windy, sunshiny, mixed-Washington-weather day at Woodley Park Zoo with our friends Katie and Bobby and their children.  

 
Jana celebrated her 40th birthday in Amherst.
